Change wordpress wp-admin password

Changing WordPress Password is something very easy.

1. Locate the file wp-config inside your wordpress installation folder, where you can see the database name, username and password.

2.Login to phpmyadmin and locate the same database.

3. Inside the database, select the table wp_users.

4.Edit the table.

5.Give the desired username in user_login.

6.Enter the md5 value of your desired password

7Click on Go

Thats it!!!!!! You have successfully changed the wp-admin password.

PS : To change the password from backend :

php -r “print( md5(‘password’)); print(\”\r\n\”);”
update wp_users set user_pass=’md5password’ where user_login = ‘admin’;
